Due to my assiduous schedule, I have not had time to travel, which greatly affected the number of photos I took. This changed a few months ago when the old palm pilot broke (broke... I dismantled it... it's all the same). All I used the palm for was playing games when I go for smoke breaks. I briefly tried playing the game on my cell phone; chess. It was a week before that became prosaic; primarily because the phone makes the same moves every single bloody game. So, I moved to the next pocket sized electronic device in my possession: my camera.
This has brought about what I've decided to title 'The Smoke Break Series', for obvious reasons. The most challenging aspect has proven to be finding original things to photograph, as my break generally invovles standing just outside my door. There are mainly macro shots, and a lot of shots of the same things over and over, only from slightly different angles with slightly different lighting and such. Also, at the suggestion of bonemouse, I've started to take the same photo everyday (sometimes more than once). I can't recall precisely what the point of this was, but I have become keenly aware of slight changes in my landlords backyard.
The plan is to get back into the habit of editing and posting photos, so I thought I might as well get started.
